You don’t have to wait until law school to start building connections in the legal community. The Hispanic Bar Association of the Inland Empire (HBAIE) welcomes students of all ages and backgrounds to explore the legal profession, meet local attorneys, and learn from their experiences.
Whether you’re considering law school, preparing your application, or already pursuing your legal education, we encourage you to get involved. Bring your questions, attend our events, and start making connections.
Thinking about law school? Connect with attorneys who have been there.
HBAIE’s Attorney Mentorship Outreach (AMO) project gives undergraduate students in the Inland Empire an opportunity to connect with local attorneys and receive guidance as they explore a future in law.
Through AMO, students can seek:
Guidance on the law school application process.
Feedback on personal statements.
Information about taking and preparing for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT).
Perspectives on law school, legal careers, and attorneys’ different paths into the profession.
You don’t need to have everything figured out to get involved. Asking questions and learning from someone else’s experience is a great place to start.

Students of all ages are encouraged to attend HBAIE events and start talking with attorneys early. These conversations can help you explore your interests, understand different areas of practice, and learn about the many paths to a legal career.
You belong in the conversation—even before you have a law school acceptance letter.
